Lagriōth Winery at Chelan Valley Farms: The Short Version

The Short Version

Lagriōth Winery at Chelan Valley Farms

Lagriōth (say it “laa-gree-oath”) is a small family winery on a working farm in Manson, Washington, in the Lake Chelan AVA. Jeana Steiner makes the wine, Chad Steiner farms the vineyard, and their three boys have grown up in the rows. Everything on this page is the plain version of who we are, what we pour, and how to visit.

The Wine

Our estate vineyard grows Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. It is certified organic, Salmon-Safe, and Sustainable WA. We farm it the way we’d want our own family’s food grown, with sheep and chickens grazing between the rows.

What we don’t grow ourselves comes from growers we know by name: Kiona on Red Mountain, Dineen in Zillah, V75 on the Columbia, and Dwane the Chardonnayman.

We make three Chardonnays, each in a different style:

  • Naked Chardonnay: stainless steel, unoaked, bright.
  • Estate Chardonnay: Chablis-style, from our own hillside. This is Jeana’s favorite.
  • Inger’s Chardonnay: barrel-fermented in French oak, rich and full.

Our Reserve Cabernet, Denny’s Red Blend, and Fumé Blanc are guest favorites, and we also make Pinot Noir and rosé. Our very first release was voted best rosé at the Great Northwest Invitational. Lots are small, and the people pouring your wine are the people who grew it. See the wines currently available.

The Wine Club

Three ways to join, all with customizable selections and complimentary tastings on every visit:

  • Orchard Club: 12 bottles, three times a year (winter, spring, fall). 20% off all wine purchases.

The Farm Through the Seasons

The wine is here all year. Everything else on The Farm is seasonal, so what you can pick depends on when you come.

  • Summer: u-pick flowers, raspberries, currants, and blueberries.
  • Fall: u-pick apples, including Honeycrisp, Cosmic Crisp, and EverCrisp, and the pumpkin patch on weekends from mid-September through October.
  • Year-round: wine tastings, farm tours by appointment, and a guest house on The Farm for overnight stays.

We don’t host weddings. For a private event, write to us at the email above.

Who We Are

Chad and Jeana Steiner built Chelan Valley Farms and Lagriōth from scratch over about twelve years. The name comes from three words: lake + agritourism + growth. We are a farm first and a tasting room second, and what we care about most is hosting people well.

Come relax on The Farm. We’d love to pour you a glass.
